Joanne Peplow is Director of Insights and Data and UK AI & Analytics Team Lead and UK AI COE Lead at Capgemini

Jo graduated from Aston University with a 2:1 in International Business and Modern Languages having spent a year studying in French. She then moved on to complete a Chartered Accountancy graduate programme with Ernst and Young. The experience of both of these areas of education spurred Jo’s interest in data and translating. Being able to communicate clearly based on a data foundation is something that she now used on a daily basis for her role at Capgemini.

Jo is now one of the leaders in the AI & Analytics space in the UK practice and spends the majority of her time working with clients to determine the value of AI&Analytics for the business and where barriers may lie. These barriers can be technical i.e. platforms, architecture or data issues however quite often they are more organisational i.e. translating a business problem into an AI & Analytics use case or cultural in convincing the organisation that data is there to augment there roles and can be trusted – build that hearts and minds business case.
