Sunny Whang joined Cisco in 2020 after finishing her Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at Imperial College London. She initially joined Cisco as a software engineer specialising in writing automated tests for Webex, a cloud-based collaboration platform. She recently took the responsibility to become an Engineering Leader for the UK Platform team where she focuses on growing the emerging talents and works on cloud native technology to deliver more robust and secure service to both customers and internal teams.
She is actively involved in organising hackathons and student shadowing events and is passionate to encourage more students from diverse backgrounds to get the opportunity to work in the engineering industry.
